The Auberge’s Cuisine

A wood-fired meal — but so much more

L'Auberge Bout de Bois

At Auberge Bout de Bois, evenings are meant to be savoured.

After a full day, you slip off your boots, enjoy a hot shower or a bath, and dress — comfortably, but with style.

As the hour arrives, the living room gently comes to life:
it’s apéritif time.

A cooked apéritif, of course — but above all, a moment to share.

Our gourmet restaurant is open from Friday to Sunday evenings. On the other evenings of the week, we simply offer a homemade slow-cooked dish, prepared with carefully selected local ingredients. It's an easy option for guests who prefer to dine at the hotel without having to drive elsewhere. Dinner is served in our lounge, beside the fireplace, in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.

True to the spirit of our inn, we do not offer a vegetarian menu. Our cuisine celebrates the finest seafood, farm produce, and the rich culinary heritage of Normandy.

That’s when we gather, recount the day’s adventures, and debrief the highs and lows over a brandy, a glass of champagne, or a homemade juice.

You feel good. At home, yet elsewhere.

The lighting is soft, the tables simply set, and the mood is that of a true home-cooked dinner.

Every evening, we offer a single menu, created in tune with the seasons and the finest local products.

Our cuisine is a philosophy: reconnecting with the tradition of refined, bourgeois inns, where local produce proudly graced the table. We have preserved its soul, its bold and generous flavors, while bringing a lighter, more contemporary interpretation.

Here, each guest has their own table, yet all share the same experience: that of an honest cuisine, crafted over a wood fire, celebrating both memory and the present.
