My Corner
of Paradise

Auberge Bout de Bois - Normandie

It may not be very objective, but to me, Saint-Jouin-Bruneval is the most beautiful place on Earth.

I grew up here, surrounded by my cousins, between the fields, the sea, treehouses, and long shared meals. My father grew up here too. And my grandfather before him.

It all started with my great-great-grandfather, who built a small house to spend family holidays. Then my grandfather — whom I deeply admired — turned it into a true place of gathering.

Later, that family home became Les Pins de César, one of Normandy’s most beautiful hotels — lovingly restored and transformed by my parents, all while preserving its soul.

As for me, I grew up in that setting. And today, I carry on the story, in my own way, just next door.

Saint-Jouin is home. A cliff, a beach, a village. A quiet land between sea and fields — and once you’ve set foot here, you never forget it.
